Hülya Esen, also known as Хюлия Велиева, is a Turkish professional tennis player. A national player for Türkiye and Bulgaria. Till 2021 she was seven consecutive years number one in the Bulgarian women’s ranking and became the first-ever triple champion of Bulgaria in 2009 in all categories – singles, doubles (partnering with her sister Lütfiye), and mixed doubles. She was the only holder of the record till the summer of 2021.
